In the first quarter, Kry experienced a 17% increase in revenue compared to the same period last year, reaching €55m. The EBITDA (excluding non-comparable items) was -€3.1m, a significant improvement (23 percentage points) from -€13.4m in the first quarter of 2023. Johannes Schildt CEO, Kry, says: “As the largest provider of digi-physical healthcare in Europe, we are committed to continually challenging European healthcare systems to enhance the everyday lives of our patients and the daily work of our clinicians. In 2023, we focused on boosting our operational efficiency. Enhanced accessibility and greater capacity led to an increase in the number of patients choosing our services. This trust is the ultimate proof in how we are creating and delivering significant value for our patients, partners and healthcare professionals across Europe.”
Kry's operational approach integrates physical and digital healthcare seamlessly, allowing the right type of care to be efficiently extended to more patients using the existing resources. For instance, the technological supports developed by Kry for its operations have enabled doctors in the digital service to reduce their administrative workload by 40 percent over the past two years.
“We do not view digital and physical healthcare as separate but as complementary pathways to treating patients more efficiently. We currently operate 59 physical locations and are expanding our footprint further with additional clinics and medical facilities. Our aim is to provide the best care possible to our patients and to leverage our technology to advance healthcare both digitally and physically.”
