On December 3, a pioneering digital healthcare conference will convene healthcare professionals, industry leaders, and experts to explore how digital innovation can transform primary care across Europe.

Hosted by Kry, Europe’s largest digital-first healthcare provider, the virtual event will bring together key voices in healthcare to examine solutions that improve efficiency, protect social healthcare models, and build resilient, equitable healthcare systems. The conference will feature two dedicated webinars, welcoming attendees from Sweden, France, the UK and beyond.

Dr. Kalle Conneryd Lundgren, Chief Operating Officer at Kry, will host the event with an opening address focused on the power of collective knowledge and innovation to drive sustainable, patient-centred healthcare.

Dr Kalle Conneryd Lundgren, said: "We are one of Europe´s largest employers of clinicians with more than 4000 colleagues working for us. We think it is time we take responsibility to share knowledge and build our clinical community across borders. We are unique and no other care provider is doing that in medicine."

The first session, beginning at 12:30 p.m. CET, is titled Enhancing Efficiency in Primary Care to Protect European Social Models. It will bring together Caroline Berchet, PhD, Health Economist at the OECD; Dr. Paul Frappe, President of the National Council of GPs, and Dr. François Burté, Responsible for Medical Innovation at Livi France, with Nicolas Leblanc, Medical and Public Affairs Director, serving as moderator. This session will focus on strategies for optimising primary care efficiency and how to address financial sustainability in Europe’s healthcare systems.

Caroline Berchet, PhD, OECD Health Economist said: “As we navigate the economic and social impacts of poor health, which currently accounts for billions in productivity losses across OECD countries annually, we must look toward sustainable solutions to strengthen primary care and ensure equitable access for all. This conference is a vital opportunity to explore innovative funding mechanisms that improve access to healthcare for the millions who currently lack adequate health support, fostering stronger, more resilient societies.”

The second session, from 14:30 to 16:00 p.m. CET, will focus on Ensuring Safe eHealthcare for Pediatric Patients: Challenges and Solutions. Moderated by Dr. Joakim Röstlund, Chief Physician and Medical Director at Kry Sweden, the discussion will feature insights from Jorge Sotoca Hernandez, paediatrician, and Anna Ekstedt, psychiatrist. This session will explore the unique needs and safety requirements of digital healthcare for children, highlighting solutions to ensure that digital tools serve this group effectively and safely.

Dr. Kalle Conneryd Lundgren, continues: “By bringing together experts in digital health, primary care, and paediatric healthcare, we can challenge, influence and pave the way for new care pathways. Kry is currently leading the charge to improve health outcomes for over 11 million patients across Europe through our integrated ‘digi-physical’ model. We have proven that digital can be embedded into healthcare systems to improve patient outcomes. This event is a crucial step in sharing knowledge on innovation from the coal face of care delivery to advance patient care, as well as support healthcare providers in their daily practice.”

The digital webinars will offer the opportunity for attendees to connect, learn, and exchange ideas with healthcare thought leaders on topics that impact the future of primary care in Europe. The sessions are open to healthcare professionals across the globe.

Register today to be part of the event and join the discussion on how digital can advance access, quality, and equity in European healthcare.
